Job Title: Electrical AssemblerJob Description

Join our team in manufacturing innovative concrete leveling machines. You will be responsible for assembling these machines using blueprints, hand and power tools, and performing electrical wiring from schematics. This role involves using lifts and a small overhead crane and requires attention to detail in wiring harnesses and hydraulic lines. Completing the assembly with a thorough testing process ensures the machines' functionality.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble concrete leveling machines using blueprints and hand/power tools.
  • Utilize lifts and overhead cranes to handle machine components.
  • Perform electrical wiring from schematics and blueprints.
  • Wire harnesses and connect electrical components to the control panel.
  • Hook up hydraulic lines and tubes.
  • Test machines to ensure full functionality, including connecting computers for diagnostics.
  • Complete assembly and testing of each machine within 12-16 hours.
Essential Skills
  • Experience as an electrical assembler for at least 1 year.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Experience in electrical wiring and assembling mechanical components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience as an auto mechanic.
  • Skills in fabrication, troubleshooting, and welding.

Work Environment

The work schedule is on the 1st shift: Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The attire includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a shirt. Work in a 2-year-old, extremely clean shop with climate control, big ceiling fans, garage doors, heated floors, and a nice break room. The shop is small, with 6 employees, fostering a very relaxed environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delavan, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
