Job Title: 2nd Shift - Machine Operator
Job Description
As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up the machine by checking work orders and blueprints to determine the part specifications and daily production targets. Your primary task involves loading metal sheets into the Brake Press and forming and bending the metal to meet the required specifications. You may also operate additional equipment such as a Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, spot welder, and punch press. A key part of your role is to conduct visual and physical inspections of each metal piece to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Check work orders and blueprints to understand part specifications and production targets.
- Set up machines daily and load metal sheets into the Brake Press.
- Form and bend metal to complete the production process.
- Operate other equipment including Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, spot welder, and punch press.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of metal pieces to ensure they meet specifications.
- Lift materials weighing over 40 pounds daily.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Experience in machine operation.
- Skill in using micrometers and calipers.
- One year of experience in operating machinery and using precision measurement tools.
- Experience with Laser, press brake, and TIG welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 6 months of welding or fabricating experience.

Work Environment
You will work in a massive, modern facility alongside over 300 colleagues in the fabrication department. The facility is clean and temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment. You will be part of a team operating machines in small pods of 2-3 people. Pay is up to $27hr.

This is a Contract position based out of Evansville, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
