Job Description

We are seeking skilled finish and rough carpenters to work on commercial projects in Southeast Wisconsin. The role involves performing detailed carpentry work, including trim work, door hanging, framing, and cabinet installation. Candidates must be able to reach job sites within a 20-minute radius of the Milwaukee area and provide their own personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Perform finish/rough carpentry tasks on commercial jobs.
• Complete trim work, hang doors, and install cabinets.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute projects accurately.
• Utilize hand tools effectively to complete carpentry tasks.
• Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship in all work performed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a rough or finish carpenter on residential/commercial projects.
• Proficiency in finish carpentry, framing, and drywall.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong hand tool skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience on multi-family, stick-built projects is advantageous.
• Experience in rough or finish carpentry with wood or steel projects is preferred.
• A good work history and reliable attendance records are important.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working within fenced-off areas on commercial job sites. Candidates will not require a safety vest. The role requires travel to various sites within 20 minutes of the Milwaukee area. The position demands adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, WI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
