- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow maps for manufacturing operations.
- Design and optimize tools, fixtures, weld fixtures, and equipment used in production to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
- Provide day-to-day engineering support for production lines, including troubleshooting equipment issues and resolving process deviations.
- Evaluate nonconformances and support disposition, rework strategies, and long-term corrective actions.
- Partner with Quality to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address recurring issues.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce cycle time and improve throughput.
- Coordinate trials, tests, and validation activities for new or modified processes, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on cost reduction initiatives while maintaining or improving product quality and delivery performance.

- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and supporting production ramp-up for new or updated products.
- Hands-on experience with fixtures, weld fixtures, and tooling design for manufacturing.
- Familiarity with welding and brazing processes in a production environment.
- Experience with heat exchanger manufacturing or similar complex assemblies.
- Knowledge of PFMEA and control plan development for risk assessment and process control.
- Exposure to Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other structured continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including design engineering, applications engineering, quality, and operations.
This role operates primarily on-site in a manufacturing facility, working closely with the production team and a small on-site manufacturing engineering group. The broader engineering organization, including design and applications engineers, works in a hybrid model and collaborates frequently across locations. The position involves regular interaction with production lines, tools, fixtures, and equipment, as well as participation in trials, tests, and validation activities on the shop floor.
