Job Description

As a Machine Kitchen Operator/Machine Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sauces in open kettles. Your role involves operating various cooking equipment such as ovens, kettles, dishwashers, and pumps, ensuring every batch meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cooking equipment including ovens, kettles, dishwashers, and pumps.
• Verify correct ingredients and measure and/or weigh them accurately.
• Prepare products for cooking by placing them on trays.
• Scoop or fill products into the kettle and add designated ingredients.
• Monitor time and temperatures throughout the cooking process.
• Remove cooked products from the kettle after cooking.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work area after each use.
• Gather veggie carts together and fill containers with hot stock.
• Palletize boxes as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation, packaging, and general production.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to perform inspections and ensure product quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Understanding and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Commitment to safety, food safety, environmental protocols, and sanitation procedures.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic food environment with varying conditions including a hot kitchen and a cold freezer area (30 degrees in the cooler).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
