Job Title: Security Guard
Job Description
As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding property against damage, fire, theft, and unauthorized entry. You will conduct periodic rounds of buildings and grounds, ensuring doors, windows, and gates are secure. Your vigilance will help enforce regulations and applicable laws, and you'll take appropriate action in the event of infractions.
Responsibilities
- Guard property against damage, fire, theft, and illegal or unauthorized entry.
- Make periodic rounds of buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.
- Enforce regulations and ensure the observance of applicable laws.
- Warn or evict individuals in the event of infractions.
- Interview guests and employees to detect infringements and investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, and accidents or incidents.
- Report irregularities to management.
- Provide assistance for accident victims and handle emergencies.
- Lift and move equipment or pursue and apprehend individuals if necessary.
- Assist management and law enforcement officials in emergency situations, apprehend unauthorized persons, search and seize items, and investigate suspected thefts.
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
- Apply OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
- Perform responsibilities of Senior Security Officer in their absence.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to present oneself in a highly professional manner.
- Honesty and ethics are essential.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
- Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.).
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well alone and in a team.
- Driver's License required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Private security or public police experience preferred.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
