Job Title: Setup Machinist
Job Description
Operate a variety of CNC machining centers and turning centers, maintaining precision and accuracy with tight tolerances. Perform self-checks using gauges, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machining centers and turning centers.
- Work with tight tolerances on parts and verify accuracy using measurement tools.
- Position, align, and secure workpieces.
- Utilize locating fixtures when necessary.
- Select and prepare tools to adapt to varying conditions and materials.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience with CNC setups.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CNC Vertical, CNC Horizontal, and CNC Turning machining centers.
- Familiarity with brands such as Mazak, Makino, Puma, Hyundai Kia/Wia, and Haas.
This is a Permanent position based out of Hartland, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
