Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator (1st & 3rd Shift)

Pay: $19.00 – $23.50 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator / Laser Operator supporting the production of critical medical products such as biowearable sensors (including glucose monitors), wound care items (bandages), and diagnostic devices. This role offers hands‑on machine operation, quality inspection, and cross‑training opportunities in a stable, growth‑oriented environment.

Entry‑level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Run machine cycles efficiently and safely
• Inspect parts as they are produced to ensure quality standards
• Perform testing on parts per work instructions
• Package finished products securely and accurately
• Document production and quality data (manual and digital entries)
• Follow SOPs and GMP guidelines for medical manufacturing

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience in machine operation or production environments
• Ability to use basic inspection tools (micrometers, calipers)
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in:
  • Machine operation
  • Mechanical assembly
  • Medical device assembly
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Consistent and reliable work history

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High attention to detail
• Willingness to cross‑train and learn new equipment
• Entry‑level candidates with mechanical inclination are welcome

Shifts Available

1st Shift

• Monday – Friday
• Daytime hours (exact start/end times provided during interview)

3rd Shift

• Sunday – Thursday
• 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
• Small team environment (3–4 operators)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.43 - $22.43/hr.
