Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

The role involves working on the production line and working collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates will receive training to support various stages of the converting process and eventually progress to a lead operator position. The position requires working an 8-hour shift on one's feet in a temperature-controlled environment, with availability for 1st shift from 5 am to 1 pm.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team activities and collaborate with colleagues.
• Undergo training to support all stages of production.
• Progress to a lead operator role through training.
• Perform packaging, inspection, and machine operation tasks.
• Utilize a forklift as needed.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of manufacturing experience within the last 2 years.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently.
• Capability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and rotate during an 8-hour shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attendance record with references to support.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a newer building equipped with clean and modern machines. The facility offers ample space for warehousing large rolls of tissue and boxes of finished products. It maintains a comfortable temperature-controlled environment with some noise, though hearing protection is available but not required. The company specializes in converting large rolls of tissue into packaged facial tissue products. Work hours for the 3rd shift are from 9 pm to 5 am, Sunday to Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kaukauna, WI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
