Job Title: Assembly Department Technician



Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Department Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling small electronic parts for various units. You will be required to read work orders from a computer and utilize both hand and power tools to complete your tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small electronic parts for various units.
  • Read and interpret work orders on a computer.
  • Utilize hand and power tools efficiently.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with precision and attention to detail.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience in assembly, machine operation, and packaging.
  • Basic computer skills with at least 6 months of experience.
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a comprehension test with a minimum score of 70% on specific sections and 100% on reading comprehension.
  • Ability to verify basic computer skills through peer reference if no formal work experience is available.

Work Environment

The facility is climate-controlled and maintained to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Employees are required to wear company-supplied smocks and ESD equipment. Flexible work shifts are available: 1st Shift (6am-4pm, M-TH), 2nd Shift (4pm-2am, M-TH), and a weekend shift (6am-6pm, Friday-Sunday).

This is a Contract position based out of La Crosse, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
