Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team, focusing on welding mild steel and engaging in production-based welding. The role will include some spot and robotic welding, with opportunities to assist in fabrication when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on mild steel using MIG techniques.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints accurately.
• Engage in production-based welding tasks.
• Conduct spot and robotic welding.
• Assist in fabrication as needed.
• Participate in cross-training and learn about other departments.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in MIG welding.
• Proficiency in reading weld blueprints for at least 1 year.
• Experience in fabrication and grinding.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to grow and train into higher levels of welding expertise.

Work Environment

Work in a larger facility with 400 employees operating over 3 shifts. The work hours are from 4am to 2pm Monday through Thursday, 4am to 12pm every Friday (mandatory), and 4am to 12pm every other Saturday. The facility encourages a supportive and dynamic work environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Lake Mills, WI.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

Growing rapidly as they diversify nicely into different industries: College and pro locker rooms, government, police stations, military, schools, grow industry. Growth opps to move up quickly into a Machine Op 2 that comes with a $1.50 raise Employee owned Direct placement Competitive benefits and insurance. 8 week training and a 90 day review Annual raises: 2-4% Goal sharing: monthly incentive based off of efficiency, delivery, safety and scrap. This is a fully onsite position in Lake Mills,WI.
