The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be instrumental in writing, maintaining, and modifying programs, as well as supporting the processes involved in machine operations for fabricating parts. In addition, this role involves supporting continuous improvement projects. This position requires proficiency in g-code programming, as it is foundational to all systems. The technician will spend 80% of their time on the production floor and 20% at a desk, working with equipment such as brake presses, manual brake presses, robotics, and CNC machines. The role is for the second shift, following initial training on the first shift for 3-6 months, and then transitioning to hours from 2 pm to 10 pm.
Responsibilities- Write, maintain, and modify programs for machine operations.
- Support processes involved in fabricating parts.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects.
- Work with brake presses, manual brake presses, robotics, and CNC equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in g-code programming and working with Fanuc systems.
- Ability to operate press brake machines and robotics.
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- Associate's degree in Manufacturing or Automation.
- 3+ years of experience with programming equipment.
- 3+ years of experience with g-code.
- 3+ years of hands-on programming experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.77 - $34.81/hr.
