About the Role
We’re expanding our department and looking for a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator who excels with smaller precision parts, enjoys a repeatable process done right, and wants to play a key role in producing high‑quality stainless steel components.

What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment with precision—including purging, controlling amperage/voltage, and selecting proper filler material
- Operate orbital welding equipment to support high‑accuracy welds
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Weld, fabricate, and inspect stainless steel and aluminum components
- Handle parts of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs)
- Support general shop tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
- 2+ years of hands‑on TIG welding experience
- 2+ years welding stainless steel
- 2+ years experience reading welding blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, assembly, and quality inspection
- A detail‑driven mindset with pride in producing clean, repeatable welds
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
