Product Owner

Description

A client of TEKsystems is building a new team of SME's from various departments and groups within the division. This person will serve as the Product Owner of the team and ultimately work to help them build out and make some improvements to the Operations team - Digital Workstation Services and Service Management. This team will help modify process for service management, streamline enterprise collaboration and overall user experience.

Description:

Accountable for objectives we’re currently finalizing, and working with team and process owners for creating epics and stories and working with team to set deliverables and target dates

New team will have 7-10 people that have previously worked on their areas’ processes, not developers

Will work closely with service now development team and product owner for development and testing

New team is focusing on improving SLAs and processes to help team managers

Internal customer base, focused on internal processes, will not be focused on development themselves

Skills

Scrum, Agile, Jira, Product management, User stories, Digital, Sprint, business analysis, mvp

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Product owner

Business analyst to ask right questions and drill into what is actually needed

Service management experience would be great

Certs: Agile certification is a nice to have, a certification not necessary if they have experience; Product Owner cert is key

Tools: Jira/Confluence experience will be key, other tool experience is fine

3-5 years business analyst skills, but no set number of year’s experience in other skills
