Job Description

We are seeking hardworking and dedicated individuals for a General Laborer position. Opportunities are available across multiple divisions, including Commercial Air Vapor Barrier, Commercial Hot Applied, Commercial Traffic Coatings, and more. This role involves assisting with construction labor work, demolition, and moving materials to new locations. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction labor work and demolition.
• Move materials to new locations as needed.
• Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret tape measures for accurate measurements.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of construction experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with epoxy and concrete work.
• Good attendance record and punctuality.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Pass a 4-panel drug test.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted on commercial construction jobsites, outdoors 100% of the time, in all weather conditions. Hours are from 6:45 am to 5 pm, starting at the company shop and traveling to jobsites in a company truck. The team size ranges from 1-3 people. Dress code includes leather boots, high-visibility shirts, and hard hats, with candidates providing their own attire. Required tools include a 28 oz. hammer, 25’ tape measure, utility knife, chalk line, screwdrivers, crescent wrenches, and a nail pouch with a hammer holder. Personal protective equipment includes a hard hat, safety glasses, and a high-visibility vest or shirt.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
