Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, gearboxes, couplings, conveyor systems, and production machines. Identify and resolve mechanical issues by observing operations, using precision measuring tools, and following diagrams, sketches, and engineering specifications. Remove, repair, and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Perform equipment setup, adjustments, minor repairs, and tooling replacements to ensure proper functionality. Control downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance techniques and ensuring compliance. Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including reports on issues, solutions, and preventive actions. Work closely with production employees, Leads, Process Managers, and Engineers to maximize machine uptime and improve processes. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and materials needed for maintenance and production. Perform required preventive maintenance tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and workplace organization standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair engines, motors, and pneumatic tools.
  • Use precision measuring tools to identify mechanical issues.
  • Remove and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Perform equipment setup and adjustments to ensure functionality.
  • Inform production workers about preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with production employees and engineers to improve processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels of tools and spare parts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Maintenance technician experience
  • Proficient in using measuring devices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Completion of Industrial Maintenance Program is a plus
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and Microsoft Office
  • Power truck and welding experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task under deadlines
  • Positive and self-motivated attitude

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $90000.00/yr.
