Job Description
This role involves operating various production machines, performing general labor tasks, and ensuring products meet quality and packaging standards in a clean, GMP-compliant environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of production machines safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Follow written instructions and standard operating procedures accurately during all daily tasks.
- Identify and remove defective material using established flagging and inspection procedures.
- Perform visual inspection of products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Label, sleeve, and box finished goods according to packaging and documentation requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with cleanroom and GMP guidelines.
- Handle materials and finished products, including lifting items up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Communicate any equipment issues, quality concerns, or process deviations to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- At least 1 year of machine operator experience, ideally within a production environment.
- Previous experience in the food or plastics industry is strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
- Strong attention to detail for visual inspection and quality checks.
- Basic understanding of production, machine operation, and general labor tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a cleanroom or controlled production environment.
- Commitment to adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience working in packaging operations, including labeling, sleeving, and boxing finished goods.
- Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and defect identification.
- Comfort working around automated or semi-automated machinery.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new machines and processes.

Work Environment
The position is based in a very clean production facility that operates under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The work takes place in a controlled environment that may include cleanroom conditions, where adherence to cleanliness and process standards is essential. You will spend most of the time on your feet, operating machines, handling materials, and performing visual inspections. The role involves regular lifting of up to 40 pounds and working around production and packaging equipment. Dress and personal protective equipment requirements align with GMP and cleanroom standards, emphasizing cleanliness, safety, and compliance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
