Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders and fitters to join our team. You will be responsible for welding components used in buildings and construction areas. This role involves performing Flux Core .045 and MIG welding, utilizing blueprints, and quality tools. You will also have the opportunity to train with experienced workers and collaborate closely with architects to meet project specifications. This position requires heavy steel welding expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform Flux Core .045 and MIG welding on construction components.
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding tasks.
- Utilize quality tools to ensure precision in welding.
- Collaborate with architects to understand and meet their requirements.
- Engage in heavy steel welding operations.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in flux core and MIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- 3+ years of experience in structural steel welding or MIG welding.
- Experience in Tig and stainless steel welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication and fitting.
- Previous work experience with companies like Ace Iron & Steel, UMI, Wisconsin Steel Tube, or Super Steel is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a smaller and clean facility with a choice of shifts. The 1st shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and the 2nd shift runs from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
