Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Employment Type: Full-Time


Position Summary:

Join a growing team installing and supporting low voltage security systems for commercial clients. This role involves hands-on work with CCTV, access control, and structured cabling in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and support security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
  • Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, coax, fiber)
  • Mount and configure security devices
  • Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Troubleshoot and repair system issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in low voltage or security system installation
  • Proficient with hand tools and cable pulling
  • Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Certifications (BICSI, NICET, or manufacturer-specific) are a plus

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Pay range: $18–$30/hr based on experience
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more
