Position Summary:

As a Senior Fermentation Technician, you will oversee and execute fermentation processes in a large-scale industrial setting. You will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing fermentation parameters, ensuring product quality, and mentoring junior operators.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor fermentation equipment and systems.

Prepare media, inoculate fermenters, and manage fermentation cycles.

Collect and analyze samples to monitor fermentation progress.

Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.

Maintain accurate batch records and documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to improve processes.

Train and mentor junior staff and new hires.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.

3–5+ years of experience in industrial fermentation or bioprocessing.

Strong understanding of microbial growth, aseptic techniques, and fermentation control.

Experience with SCADA or other process control systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
