Job Title: Electrical Engineer


Job Description

Prepare and present PCB designs for technical review in compliance with the organization's design processes. Generate PCB document packages following organizational standards and work closely with PCB vendors to source prototypes from design files. Participate in component library maintenance, which includes the creation of component footprints, generation of schematic symbols, 3D models, and entry of new parts into the Electronics CAD (ECAD) library. Complete ECAD/MCAD file transfer and collaborate with the mechanical design team to achieve excellence in system design.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present PCB designs for technical review.
  • Generate PCB document packages in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with PCB vendors to source prototypes.
  • Maintain component library including footprints, schematic symbols, and 3D models.
  • Complete ECAD/MCAD file transfer and collaborate with the mechanical design team.
  • Commit to successful completion of CID training.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in PCB design and layout using Altium.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing.
  • 2+ years experience in PCB design and layout.
  • Knowledge of component troubleshooting and design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prefer experience with Altium.
  • CID or other training to enhance knowledge and design skillset.
