Job Title: 2nd Shift Packaging Quality LeadJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Quality Lead for the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is required to accommodate the business needs, especially during the busy holiday season. This role involves ensuring quality standards are met in a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise production lines within a food manufacturing facility.
  • Train and mentor employees to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Utilize Microsoft programs for various supervisory tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules efficiently.
  • Apply SQF and HACCP standards to improve quality assurance processes.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Proven ability to train employees and lead teams effectively.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and implementing quality standards.
  • Proficiency in following SOPs and using Microsoft programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with HACCP and SQF standards is a plus.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards.
  • Experience in production management, quality control, and packaging.
Work Environment

The work environment is a food manufacturing facility with multiple production lines, each producing different products based on daily order demands. The bakery environment involves large mixers and ovens, and requires machinery to be taken apart and hand washed, presenting challenges for the sanitation team. The company offers a positive culture with a focus on employee appreciation, where owners work alongside employees and provide a 20% employee discount. Food is available in the breakroom.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.

This a direct placement opportunity. Benefits will be provided upon start of assignment or sooner if requested by client.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Mount Pleasant,WI.
