Description
- Manage high-impact vendor relationships, ensuring strong communication and issue resolution with key contacts.
- Lead vendor evaluations and contract negotiations to maximize value and performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal experts to assess vendor financials, operations, and delivery capabilities.
- Monitor post-contract performance and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Partner with IT and Legal teams to assess risk, ensure compliance, and optimize contract terms.
- Conduct vendor risk reviews and support compliance efforts related to third-party oversight.
- Help build and maintain a preferred vendor ecosystem to streamline sourcing and pricing strategies.
- Define and implement governance standards, performance metrics, and vendor management processes.
- Provide strategic oversight and escalation support to ensure vendor accountability.
- Develop and deliver training on vendor management best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to long-term sourcing strategies.
- Support third-party risk management initiatives across non-vendor engagements.
- Track and report on corrective actions for underperforming vendors.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, vendor management, or procurement.
- Strong understanding of legal, compliance, and privacy/security principles.
- Proven ability to redline and negotiate complex contracts.
- Excellent project and time management skills with a proactive, self-directed approach.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence across multiple levels.
- Comfortable working in a tech-driven environment with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with contract management or third-party risk platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and e-signature tools.
