Soldering Machine Operator

The Wave Coating Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and shutting down wave soldering equipment and related machinery. This role involves handling materials, mixing solutions, and completing necessary production documentation. It also includes inspecting, repairing, and reworking coated boards, communicating any equipment or production issues, maintaining a clean work area, and occasionally lifting components up to 60 lbs. Candidates should possess a high school education, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of electronic components.

• Set up, operate, maintain, and shut down wave soldering equipment and related machinery.
• Handle materials and mix solutions as required.
• Complete necessary production documentation accurately.
• Inspect, repair, and rework coated boards.
• Communicate any equipment or production issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Lift components weighing up to 60 lbs as needed.

• Knowledge of electronic components, including identifying resistor color bands and wire colors.
• Ability to read and understand electronic assembly documentation and drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude for machine operation.

• High school education.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, SMT, and PCB manufacturing.

Work on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM on a manufacturing floor. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and involves occasional physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
