Job Title: Press Brake Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication team. In this role, you will set up and operate brake machines to bend and form metal parts with precision, ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety in our clean, well-organized manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components.
  • Install, adjust, and maintain tooling as required for production.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
  • Verify product accuracy using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and make minor equipment adjustments.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain equipment in proper working condition.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist and train other operators when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience operating press brake machines.
  • Strong proficiency in blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Ability to set up CNC machines.
  • Skilled in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment

  • Clean, organized, and safety-focused metal manufacturing shop.
  • Shift: First shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Osceola, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
