Cnc Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up CNC mills or lathes for production runs. You will be responsible for reading blueprints to determine part specifications and machine operation requirements, changing tools, and making necessary program adjustments. Your role will include inspecting products with precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers.

• Set up CNC mills or lathes for production runs ranging from 300-500 parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and machine operation requirements.
• Change tools and adjust programs to maintain production quality.
• Inspect finished products using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Experience with CNC setup and operation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Skilled in using micrometers and calipers for product inspection.

• Knowledge of G&M code is a plus.
• Experience with multiple setups daily; current setup machinists handle 4-5 per day.

Work in a 20,000 sqft climate-controlled shop, divided into specialized cells for Swiss turning, lathes with barfeeders, and vertical machining with pallet changers. The first shift operates from 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Join a team of roughly 50 employees as we expand our headcount to support continued sales growth. Engage in job shop projects for a diverse range of products and industries, including local, regional, and potential international collaborations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pewaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $39.00/hr.
