Job Description

As a Fabrication Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing of metal components. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the commitment to delivering superior metal products. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a job shop environment. This is a rewarding position in a fast-paced work environment where safety, quality, delivery, and customer service are top priorities. This is a full-time, onsite position.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes for metal components.
  • Refine existing processes to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.
  • Support the commitment to superior quality and customer service.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multicultural and diverse team environment.
  • Influence other departments and sr. managers to optimize production processes.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of fabrication experience, including lasers, CNC turret punch press, spot-welding, rolling, forming/press brakes, MIG & TIG welding, assembly.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling, especially sheet metal processing.
  • Strong understanding of metalworking processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Experience in CNC programming and machine shop operations.
  • Ability to speak and present to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a contract manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, prioritizing safety, quality, delivery, and customer service. The position is onsite, requiring collaboration within a multicultural and diverse team. Dress code adheres to safety and professional standards, and the role involves direct interaction with different departments and Sr. managers.

Compensation:$52.88
