Job Description
The role involves setting up, maintaining, and cleaning greenhouse areas while caring for plants used in research and development activities. You will use a spray chamber to test products on various plants and weeds, mix chemical formulas for laboratory activities, and prepare media and reagents for microbiological studies. Additionally, you will assist with R&D projects, lab work, and perform necessary administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and clean greenhouse areas.
- Care for plants used in R&D activities.
- Use a spray chamber for product testing on plants and weeds.
- Mix chemical formulas for lab activities and testing.
- Prepare media and reagents for microbiological studies.
- Assist with R&D projects and laboratory work.
- Collect and catalog greenhouse and laboratory data.
- Background in plant care, chemistry, or environmental science.
- Interest in aligning career goals with the company's work.
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science.
- Interest in obtaining a pesticide license.
- Knowledge in plant science, weed science, soil science, entomology, and microbial science.
The candidate will work in greenhouse, laboratory, and office areas. This is a 1st shift role, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves collaboration with a team of three, a project manager, and a director. The candidate must be comfortable working with plants, handling chemical products, and conducting microbiological and entomology studies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sharon, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
