Candidates will be performing mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and large components. The role involves working both independently and as part of a team in specified work areas to complete OEM assemblies. You will read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions to accurately and timely build and assemble parts and equipment. Accurate measurement of parts using scales, micrometers, and calipers is essential. The position also requires utilizing overhead crane and rigging procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and large components.
- Work independently and in teams to complete OEM assemblies.
- Read and follow blueprints, shop orders, and specifications.
- Measure parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers.
- Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.
- Experience with blueprint reading and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and assemble both sub-assemblies and mid-assemblies from 2D and 3D prints.
- Experience using rigging equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- Must have their own set of tools.
- Ability to work independently with limited training.
- Education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.
- Mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metric conversions.
- Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, and cut-off saw.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a growing company with opportunities for upward mobility. The position is for 2nd shift hours, 2pm - 10pm, with overtime available. The facility is clean, well-lit, and equipped with new machinery.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Sheboygan, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
