As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a manual lathe, ensuring the production of precision parts. You will regularly inspect tools and equipment, communicate delays or concerns to the shop foreman, and ensure the accuracy of your measuring equipment using the standard in the inspection room. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate a manual lathe to produce precision parts.
- Regularly inspect tools and equipment for accuracy and quality.
- Communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to the shop foreman.
- Ensure the accuracy of measuring equipment by using the standard in the inspection room.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to set up and operate a manual lathe.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience with CNC machinery.
- Strong understanding of lathe operations.
- 3+ years of experience ideally in a similar role.

Work EnvironmentWork in a machine shop during the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Join a dedicated team of 66 individuals in a climate-controlled building that fosters a family-like atmosphere. The CNC crew typically starts at 6:00 AM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Sussex, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
