Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operator to join our team for the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining fermentation tanks and various food production machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain fermentation tanks and food production machinery including packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems.
- Perform sanitation duties to ensure cleanliness and compliance with GMP standards.
- Weigh and count products accurately to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Check in and out materials accurately.
- Complete Disassembly, Clean, and Reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.
- Print labels accurately for product identification.
- Conduct minor quality inspections of products.
- Record production data and ensure accurate documentation.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in operating production machinery in a GMP environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in sanitation duties.
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience in fermentation, mechanical and food production processes.
- Ability to perform documentation review effectively.

Work Environment
You will work in a GMP environment within a climate-controlled facility. The 1st shift hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for voluntary overtime of up to 5 hours. Adherence to GMP codes is required, including wearing safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, pants without holes, and appropriate hair and beard nets.

This is a Contract position based out of Verona, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
