Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate and set up brake presses, lasers, drilling machines, and punch presses. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers, and capable of lifting over 50 pounds. Experience operating overhead cranes is also necessary.

• Operate brake press, laser, drilling machine, and punch press.
• Set up and configure machinery independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Utilize precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
• Unload and load machinery efficiently.
• Operate overhead cranes safely and effectively.

• 3-5 years of machine operating experience.
• Proficiency in machine operation, blueprint reading, and fabrication.
• Experience with micrometers and calipers.
• Familiarity with press brake, laser, and shear operations.

• Experience running brake presses, lasers, and shears.
• Inspection skills.

Work in a quiet, clean environment with a small shop feel, where only 13 people, including management, are on the floor. Collaborate in pairs during the first shift, running Monday through Thursday, 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with voluntary overtime on Fridays. The shop values attendance, with a clear policy in place.

This is a Permanent position based out of Watertown, WI.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
