Job Title: WelderJob Description

Join our team as a Welder, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our metal fabrication projects. Your primary focus will be on welding and assembling metal components, while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Perform welding tasks using MIG and Flux core techniques, primarily working with mild steel and some other materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise welding jobs.
  • Weld in all positions to meet project specifications.
  • Operate machinery such as brake presses and shears to assist in the production process.
  • Assemble materials and equipment as required for production.
  • Inspect finished products for defects to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in loading raw materials to production lines and transporting materials as needed.
  • Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in MIG welding.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience with fabrication, MIG welding, and Flux core techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • A degree is considered a 'nice to have' qualification.

Work Environment

Work in a quiet, clean environment with a small shop feel, consisting of 13 team members including management. Collaborate with a partner in a single shift operation: Monday through Thursday, 5:30am to 3:30pm, with optional overtime on Fridays. Enjoy a supportive work culture with a fair attendance policy.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Watertown, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Benefits/Insurance - sign up for what you need rather than having to sign up for everything 401k, 3% match (if you're contributing 100%) 2% (if you're contributing 50%) PTO: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years (PTO is prorated based on when you start) 8 paid holidays, use the floating holidays so you get one day off a month from a holiday Tuition Reimbursment Each year you get $100 to spend on anything safety related (steel toes, glasses, etc.) Provide everything besides weld helmet and steel toes
