Packaging Operator - 2nd Shift

Join a dynamic team dedicated to producing high-quality sweet potato chips fried in avocado oil, free from the top 9 most common allergens. As a Packaging Operator, you will oversee operations involving Alpma machines, brine systems, and filling forms, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with our high standards. You will be responsible for setting up and operating high-speed packaging machines to produce chip bags, conducting minor troubleshooting to identify machine stoppages or jams, and determining if maintenance is required.

• Manage and operate specific machinery in the production line.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and production procedures.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

• 2+ years of machine operating experience at the same company.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing and GMP practices.
• Proficiency in filling and packaging machines.
• 2+ years of minor troubleshooting experience.

• Experience in adjusting feeds and speeds.
• Change over experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

The environment is temperature-controlled, not refrigerated, and adheres to GMP standards, requiring a hair net, beard net, smocks, hard hat, and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr.
