Job Description

The Equipment Technician will support all the equipment within the facility, including pumps, vessels, vacuum dryers, and automated equipment. The role involves participating in preventative maintenance as well as engaging in new projects, which includes the introduction of new equipment and supporting its installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain all facility equipment including pumps, vessels, and vacuum dryers.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Work with HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Collaborate on projects to ensure equipment compliance with industry standards.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience with equipment troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience with preventative maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps/motors.
• 3+ years of experience in a regulated industry.
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC systems or refrigeration equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated environment is highly beneficial.
• Skills in troubleshooting and repair of industrial, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of automation systems and equipment engineering.
• Familiarity with conduit and blueprint reading.

Work Environment

This position offers a first shift opportunity from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the option to start at 5:00 AM for overtime. A second shift role is also available from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an additional shift differential. The facility is a clean, regulated environment specializing in biosourced pharmaceuticals, located just outside Madison, Wisconsin. The company is a world leader in the development and compliant manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, providing a unique opportunity for growth and advancement in the engineering field.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
