We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operator for the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining fermentation tanks and food production machinery. This includes a variety of equipment such as packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems. The role involves ensuring sanitation standards are met, accurately weighing and counting products, checking in and out materials, and conducting minor quality inspections. Additionally, the operator will perform safe and efficient disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly (DCRs) and accurately print labels.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain fermentation tanks and food production machinery.
- Perform sanitation duties to ensure a clean working environment.
- Weigh and count products accurately.
- Accurately check in and out materials.
- Complete disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of equipment safely and efficiently.
- Print labels accurately.
- Conduct minor quality inspections of products.
- Record data related to product and production processes.
- Experience in operating production machinery in a GMP environment (1+ year).
- Proficiency in sanitation duties (1+ year).
- Experience in quality inspection and LOTO procedures (1+ year).
- Familiarity with fermentation processes.
- Mechanical aptitude in food production.
- Ability to review documentation accurately.

Work EnvironmentOur facility operates in a GMP environment, ensuring a climate-controlled setting for optimal comfort. The position is for the 1st shift, from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with voluntary overtime opportunities of up to 5 hours. Adherence to GMP code is required, including wearing safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and appropriate attire such as pants without holes, hair nets, and beard nets.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Windsor, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
