Description
TEKsystems is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data entry, logistics coordination, customer engagement, and administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry to update and maintain records in the transportation management system.
Assist with logistics coordination, including scheduling and tracking shipments.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Prepare and process transportation invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly and professionally.
Support fleet management activities and daily customer-specific reporting tasks.
Engage with customers via phone, email, or in person to ensure satisfaction.
Adhere to the site’s quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation or a related environment preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic computer skills required; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
Prior data entry experience.
Professional phone and email etiquette.
Ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls.
