This role involves being onsite on large commercial/industrial projects to perform geotechnical analysis and studies to assess construction site conditions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct on-site technical activities and data collection to support project teams.</li><li>Commission and document results to ensure quality outcomes.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customer representatives.</li><li>Assess construction site conditions through geotechnical analysis and studies.</li><li>Determine feasibility of commercial and design specifications for construction projects.</li><li>Ensure accurate and legible construction documentation.</li><li>Act as a liaison between field crew and project managers and engineers.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>Minimum associate's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.</li><li>1-3 years of commercial construction experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of construction site safety and the commercial construction process.</li><li>Capability in detailed construction documentation.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Pass MVR.</li></ul>Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Preferred experience as inspector, observer, surveyor, or in construction materials testing.</li><li>Experience interacting with onsite representatives, general contractors, and subcontractors.</li><li>Willingness to travel to other offices and project sites, primarily within Omaha or Lincoln.</li></ul>Work EnvironmentA company vehicle is provided for transport between the office and job site.
