Job Title: Welder 1st shift: $22.50/ 2nd shift: $23.50 / weekend shift 27/hourJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team responsible for supplying warehouse parts to major distribution centers. As a welder, you will play a crucial role in repairing parts that have been missed by robotic welders, ensuring that production numbers are met and quality parts are delivered.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform repair welds on parts that robotic welders missed.</li><li>Set up jigs and fixtures by adjusting fixtures and equipment used in production.</li><li>Operate equipment efficiently to meet production standards while ensuring quality using necessary measuring tools.</li><li>Maintain required records and keep a clean work area.</li><li>Follow verbal and written instructions related to the operation of dies and equipment.</li><li>Conduct fixture set-ups and operations, buffing, spot welding, and operate special welding fixtures.</li><li>Perform MIG welding, load jigs, pack, deburr, sort, and rework parts according to blueprints.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>Experience in MIG welding.</li><li>Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Capability to keep up with production numbers while ensuring quality.</li></ul>Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in machine loading is a plus.</li><li>Ability to pass a weld test.</li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality.</li></ul>Why Work Here?This is an entry point opportunity at a growing company with significant projects on the horizon, including new ventures with major clients.
