Dental
Our Dental plan provides full coverage for preventive care, and comprehensive coverage for basic and major restorative services, and orthodontics. Employees have the flexibility to receive care from in-network or out-of-network providers. The dental plan uses a Delta Dental network.

Vision
Leonardo DRS offers the EyeMed vision plan, which covers a range of vision care services, including regular eye exams, glasses and contact lenses.

Pre-tax Spending Accounts
These accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars through payroll deductions to pay for eligible expenses — while lowering their taxable incomes. We offer a health care flexible spending account (FSA) and, for enrollees in the High Deductible Health Plan, a health savings account (HSA).* Leonardo DRS makes employer contributions to an HSA on an employee’s behalf. A dependent day care FSA is also available.

*A limited purpose FSA (for eligible dental and vision expenses) is available if you enroll in the HSA.

Income Protection
Leonardo DRS provides company-paid life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&amp;D) insurance, and short-term and long-term disability coverage – all at no cost to you. Supplemental coverage is also available for purchase if employees want additional financial security for themselves and/or their family members.

Retirement Savings
Leonardo DRS partners with our employees to help prepare for retirement by offering a competitive 401(k) plan. Employees can participate within a month of their date of hire. Job Description:The engineering test technician position in the Structural and Environmental Laboratories at the Sand Lake Road Facility in Orlando Florida will report directly to the Environmental Test Group Engineering Manager. The group is responsible for providing environmental test solutions to all R&amp;D and production programs at MFC. The position is focused on the setup and execution of a variety of environmental simulation tests in accordance with program and MIL STD requirements. Types of tests include vibration shock and various types of climatic exposures. You will monitor and manage network performance, troubleshoot issues, and support system upgrades while maintaining a high standard of customer service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for IT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, and end-user systems.</li><li>Monitor and manage network performance to ensure availability, reliability, and security.</li><li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, ensuring timely resolution within defined SLA levels.</li><li>Support system upgrades, patching, and scheduled maintenance activities to minimize downtime.</li><li>Respond to IT incidents, outages, and service requests in alignment with ITIL best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with global IT teams to resolve escalated issues affecting enterprise applications or network systems.</li><li>Document technical resolutions and maintain accurate configuration records.</li><li>Deliver high-quality customer service to internal business users through effective communication and technical expertise.</li><li>Support local devices, printers, and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams and VPN access.</li><li>Provide user training or guidance on IT tools, security best practices, and new technologies.</li><li>Participate in global and regional IT projects, including infrastructure deployment, network upgrades, or system migrations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, policies, and security frameworks.</li><li>Act as an IT ambassador for the local site, liaising between business units and corporate IT to address operational needs.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network support.</li><li>Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and common enterprise tools.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across hardware, software, and networking layers.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service orientation.</li></ul>Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.</li><li>Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS) or virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools such as ServiceNow.</li><li>Experience with endpoint management systems like SCCM or Intune.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global IT environment.</li><li>Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional or remote teams.</li></ul>Job Type &amp; LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Whitsett, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $118400.00/yr.Qualifications
