As the main point of contact to clients, the Survey Project Manager oversees both field and office teams, drives business development efforts, and supports staff growth and development.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead transportation and public-sector land survey projects from planning through delivery.</li><li>Oversee regulatory requirements, prepare proposals, budgets, and sign plats.</li><li>Prepare and manage proposals, budgets, schedules, contracts, and billing.</li><li>Supervise and allocate resources across field and office teams, managing 2-3 CAD technicians directly.</li><li>Sign and seal plats, field notes, and right-of-way drawings as needed.</li><li>Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.</li><li>Support business development and lead public-sector proposal efforts.</li><li>Mentor staff and uphold technical and quality standards.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>Professional Surveyor (PS) license.</li><li>Experience in leading and managing land surveying projects, preferably in transportation.</li><li>Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Micro Station, Geopack, and MS Office Suite.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to clearly define assignments and deliverables to team members.</li><li>Capability to oversee, mentor, and motivate a project team.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem-solve promptly.</li><li>Capacity to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration.</li></ul>Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with right of way, ALTA surveys, boundary survey, easement, and construction staking.</li><li>Project management expertise.</li></ul>Work EnvironmentMainly working in-office.
