The candidate should be willing to travel occasionally to cover national projects.Responsibilities<ul><li>Create the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.</li><li>Oversee site safety and ensure compliance with regulations.</li><li>Maintain and review all project documentation.</li><li>Ensure project oversight and quality control.</li><li>Communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, clients, and owners.</li><li>Manage project materials and resources efficiently.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>10+ years of experience in commercial construction.</li><li>10+ years as a superintendent on ground-up projects.</li><li>Lead superintendent on at least 5 projects.</li><li>Experience with projects valued at over $10 million.</li><li>Willingness to travel to Lafayette, IN for a year or more.</li><li>Experience in client-facing roles and effective communication.</li><li>Proficiency with Procore.</li><li>Experience in creating construction schedules.</li></ul>Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Willingness to travel nationwide for up to 2 weeks to cover projects.</li><li>Healthcare construction project experience.</li><li>CHC certification.</li><li>K-12 construction experience.</li><li>Degree in Construction Management.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Project.</li><li>Water and wastewater project experience.</li><li>Background in carpentry.</li></ul>Work EnvironmentThe role requires on-site presence with a schedule of 40-50 hours per week, depending on the season and project demands. Work weeks may include 5 days of 10-hour shifts during busy periods. Benefits include immediate start after hire, weekly salary payment, phone reimbursement, vehicle reimbursement, and travel expense coverage.
