Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Energy Market Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team. This role is critical in identifying, assessing, and mitigating market risks associated with energy trading activities, including power, natural gas, power, crude, ngl and LNG. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of energy markets, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to communicate complex risk concepts to stakeholders across the organization. Job Summary Bakken Overview The Bakken trend is a sequence of liquids-rich sand and shale layers in the Williston Basin, which stretches across western North Dakota and into Canada. The company's position in the Bakken development area is comprised of approximately 560,000 net acres, which include 382,000 net mineral acres and 178,000 net leasehold acres. The company focuses on unconventional tight-oil play development and production in the most prolific portion of the basin. During 2022, net production averaged 95 MBOED. There were 43 operated wells brought online during 2022, bringing the total to more than 800 operated wells online at year-end. If you are selected as the Multi-Skill Operator (MSO) for the Bakken, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving production. You will perform most of your responsibilities at the well site via a company provided vehicle. You will be a Safety Leader and drive ConocoPhillips' commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). This position can be based in Watford City, ND; Williston, ND; Alexander, ND; Arnegard, ND; Grassy Butte, ND; Sidney, MT; or Fairview, MT. While oil and gas experience is preferred, those with strong mechanical reasoning and comprehension, and interest in outdoor lone-work can be trained. We encourage applicants of a diverse group of backgrounds and experience. This is a Safety Sensitive position.
