Provides administrative support for all the University Health insurance plans for employees and house staff.  Support includes, but is not limited to providing benefit information to employees, ensuring the proper application of benefits plans, procedures, policies and programs.  Acts as liaison to carriers, plan administrators and third party providers in the investigation and resolution of complex benefit coverage matters.  

Assists plan participants in the determination of benefit plan provisions and limitations.  Processes and audits insurance invoices, claim reports and identifies errors and trends.  Responsible for a working knowledge of legislative issues and laws that affect benefit administration. Assists all employees, visitors and callers in a manner that is consistently courteous, professional, responsive, timely and accurate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or a related field is required.  A minimum of three year’s recent experience administering or providing service for insurance benefits, COBRA and associated benefits is preferred.  

Thorough understanding of legislation to include ERISA, Section 125/Flexible Spending Accounts, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA is required.  PC and windows experience to include spreadsheets, database management and word processing competence is required. VLookup experience is highly preferred.

The Role

	<li>Perform telephone call reminders for scheduled appointments.</li>

	<li>Appropriately adapts assigned patient assessment, treatment and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific and other            developmental needs of each patient served. </li>

Requirements

Pharmacy Technician Trainee

The Director, Managed Care Analytics is responsible for the creation and development of detailed financial models, analyses and reports to support third party payer contract negotiations and optimization of the performance of existing third party payer relationships. Responsible for the development of the necessary reports to identify and assess contract performance trends and operational issues. Responsible negotiating letters of agreement with non-contracted third party payers and ensuring that all parties to the contract fully understand financial and operational issues relating to letters of agreement. Responsible for educating staff in various departments on new or amended third party payer contract rates, terms, and conditions. Responsible for the development of a program of cross-training and maintenance of skills in the use of contract modeling information systems. Supports the Executive Director in the identification of potential business opportunities, contract negotiations, payer relationship development, and provider relationship development.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, business, or healthcare administration is required.  A combined minimum of five (5) years’ experience in statistical and financial analyses, report writing, decision support, and/or third party payer contracting is preferred. Must have knowledge of Texas Medicaid system (traditional and managed care), as well as federal Medicare Advantage and commercial health insurance exchange programs.  Must possess strong interpersonal skills as well as strong leadership qualities. Knowledge of Lean principles and experience implementing Lean practices is preferred. Progressively responsible management level experience in an academic healthcare center preferred.  

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALING 
Managed Care certification by Healthcare Financial Management Association is preferred.

OverviewJob Location: Pooler, GA The Home Health Branch Manager role will oversee the operations of our home health agency in Pooler, GA ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with Medicare regulations. Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia is required.  In this role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to our clinical and non-clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This role requires a visionary leader with strong clinical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for home health care.  Responsibilities As the Home Health Branch Manager, you supervise the clinical operations of your team of field staff and report directly to the Agency Administrator. You will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing. You will need to understand the issues related to the delivery of home health care services and be able to problem solve.
