Overview:Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Rockford is looking for self-motivated, outgoing, professional leaders. This position oversees and is responsible for managing the park’s warehouse operations. Guest first service is expected and is to be championed throughout the department. The position requires ensuring a specific location can achieve financial and service goals by having all necessary product each day. Responsibilities include working with the IPS team to ensure units are restocked daily with items needed for a successful operation. Management must maintain a clean, organized work area by effectively operating their units to meet service standards. Training to respective team members should continuously occur throughout the season. This position requires someone who is a self-starter and initiates projects without constant supervision. The pay for the position is $17 an hour and runs from May through September. Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain a safe work environment and aid in the elimination of hazards </li><li>Unload, count, inspect for damages/shortages, properly sign for, notify requestor, and record all receiving  paperwork </li><li>Present one’s self in a friendly and professional manner when interacting with vendors and delivery drivers</li><li>Lead the team during deliveries to ensure products are put away in a timely manner and in the correct locations</li><li>Physically transfer any items that are needed from the warehouse to Food Units as needed</li><li>Answer radio calls to assist unit management as needed with transfers or operational needs </li><li>Ensure all items are being rotated correctly to minimize waste and control Cost of Goods </li><li>Properly document and dispose of any items that have expired</li><li>Work closely with the Revenue Manager to determine any items needing to be ordered based on vendor delivery schedules</li><li>Participate in weekly physical counts of each Food and Beverage location by accurately counting all items</li><li>Complete physical counts of wardrobe inventory based on a schedule determined by park management</li><li>Ensure all team members are correctly using EAS and are following EAS policies regarding accurate clock in/out times and break guidelines </li><li>Assist in facilitating rehire/new hire department training sessions </li><li>Provide corrective action as needed, train and provide feedback to team members </li><li>Assist in the units as necessary to ensure operations run smoothly </li></ul> Qualifications:Skills and Qualifications:<span style="margin: 0px; Food & Beverage Inventory Supervisor (Seasonal)- $17/HR

Food & Beverage Leadership Supervisor (Seasonal) | $15.75 - $17.00/hr

Overview:Safely maintain, repair and rehab equipment in multiple areas within the Maintenance Division; Plumbing, HVAC/R, Kitchen Equipment Repair, Carpentry, Painting, Aquatic Systems & Water Quality. Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: black;">Assist in maintaining all attractions, facilities, grounds and structures daily</li><li style="color: black;">Perform visual and physical inspections of assigned areas</li><li style="color: black;">Perform rehab work on assigned areas</li><li style="color: black;">Maintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various items, equipment and locations</li><li style="color: black;">Perform routine preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment</li><li style="color: black;">Assist with keeping a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance</li><li style="color: black;">Conduct ongoing Water Quality testing and record results</li><li style="color: black;">Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve attraction downtime instances</li><li style="color: black;">Effectively and professionally, communicate and coordinate with other departments within the park</li><li style="color: black;">Comply with company procedures, policies and safety standards</li><li style="color: black;">Help to ensure compliance with government codes and corporate mandates</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: black;">Experience in Carpentry, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, Aquatic Systems and Water Quality a plus</li><li style="color: black;">CPO certification a plus – training provided upon hire</li><li style="color: black;">Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of Guests and fellow Associates</li><li style="color: black;">Must possess strong safety sensitivity & ability to work with many different types of devices</li><li style="color: black;">Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to and in excess of 150ft., crawling and working in confined spaces and lifting up to 100 lbs. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Maintenance Technician- Full Time | $21/hr

Overview:Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Rockford is looking for self-motivated, outgoing, professional leaders. This position oversees and is responsible for managing a retail location within the park and leading the team within that location. Guest first service is expected and is to be championed throughout the department. The position requires leading and motivating a specific location to achieve financial and service goals. Responsibilities include restocking displays with new merchandise in the retail store and selling new uniforms via a POS system. Management must maintain a clean, organized work area by effectively operating their units to meet service standards. Training to respective team members should continuously occur throughout the season. This position requires someone who is a self-starter and initiates projects without constant supervision. Responsibilities:• Interact and support guests and fellow team members on a daily basis • Ensure retail store displays are restocked, cleaned and organized before opening each day • Communicate any special item promotions to team members and ensure proper signage is on display • Notify the IPS Manager of any items that are running low on inventory (i.e.: uniforms, drinks, ice cream, chips) • Sell uniforms to all departments via a POS throughout the season as needed • Complete all refund transactions as outlined by the Six Flags Refund Policy • Maintain a safe work environment and aid in the elimination of hazards • Follow and record all inventory control functions including damages on a daily basis • Investigate any recorded items that are showing a negative quantity on-hand • Inspect any new merchandise for damages before receiving in the inventory tracking system • Ensure all team members are correctly using EAS and are following EAS policies regarding accurate clock in/out times and break guidelines • Complete Seasonal Evaluations • Assist in facilitating rehire/new hire department training sessions • Provide corrective action as needed, train and provide feedback to team members • Ensure team is following all policies and procedures by continuously training and providing feedback to team members and leads Qualifications:• Must be at least 16 years old • Must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays • Work Season: Mid-April – Early October (Work available during this range, can be flexible for school) • Must be professional, self-motivated, and have an enthusiastic attitude • Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others • Able to be self-motivated and work independently with little assistance • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours at a time

Retail Supervisor (Seasonal) $15.75/HR

Overview:This senior level management position is responsible for providing strategic and operational vision for Hurricane Harbor Rockford and is accountable for all operational functions related to its safe and effective operation. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who uses their experience to manage resources, develop, and implement an operational plan ensuring to meet Six Flags policies, procedures, and high standards. Guide decisions to ensure the profitability and sustainability in achieving company goals and objectives. Have a solid business and financial acumen and an understanding of all functional aspects of park operations, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a record of accomplishment driving team-driven results. Balancing breadth of knowledge and collaboration. Works with the Park Manager, of a three-park complex, and peers to drive the company and park's mission, objectives, and priorities. Responsibilities:<ul><li style="color: #515151;">Responsible for the overall management and direction of park operation, as well as achievement and execution of strategic imperatives, in accordance with the company and park’s mission, objectives and priorities. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Establishes operating practices and procedures and ensures compliance to facilitate the team’s achievement of financial, operational, and safety goals. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Develops, recommends, and ensures successful implementation of short and long-term strategic plans, budgets, projections, capital improvements, and annual operating schedules.</li><li style="color: #515151;">Recommends, implements, and monitors business model changes to factor in challenges and opportunities during operating season. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Oversees effective use and development of management and staff while fostering a climate of diversity and inclusion. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Ensures company policies are properly and consistently administered and enforced. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Ensures park operates within all federal and local guidelines. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Develops and fosters strong community relationships and represents and promotes park’s interests in various community and business-related arenas. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Monitors and analyzes measurable operational standards such as throughput, speed of service, rides per guest, and downtime followed by guidance for improvements. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Monitors guest feedback and sets strategic plan to the Park Management team on product and service issues to be addressed. </li><li style="color: #515151;">Responsible for maintaining all Six Flags standards and enforcing all park policies and procedures.
