Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Complete assessments and develop care plans to design activities that are multi-faceted, meet guests’ functional levels, and reflect the needs and interests of each guest.</li>
<li>Offer activities that engage and involve facility, staff, volunteers and visitors.</li>
<li>Assist with escorting guests to and from activities.</li>
<li>Post monthly activity calendars</li>
<li>Manage Activities Assistants in facilitating guest engagement in activities.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Licensed or registered, if applicable, by the State in which practicing; and</li>
<li>Is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activities professional OR</li>
<li>Has two years of experience in a social or recreational program OR</li>
<li>Is a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant; or</li>
<li>Has completed a training course approved by the State</li>
<li>High school diploma required</li>

The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) at St. Anthony Healthcare Center acts as the connecting agent between the clinical/dietetics team and the kitchen staff. The CDM is responsible for ensuring guests receive diet- and texture-appropriate meals that are appetizing and nutritious.

<li>Complete diet history/food preference screening upon guest admission.</li>
<li>Develop, maintain and implement menus specific to the guest population.</li>
<li>Maintain kitchen cleanliness compliant with State and Federal guidelines.</li>
<li>Supervise purchasing in the dietary department specific to the facility budget.</li>
<li>Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including procurement, sanitation, scheduling, training, talent development and QAPI.</li>
<li>Cooperate with other departments to identify and accommodate guests’ choices, preferences and customary routines regarding eating.</li>
<li>Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation of dietary portion of guest care plans.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Prefer two-year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting focused on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.</li>
