Networking Foundations

About the course:
The course will provide instruction in technical skills required in network administration and support. This course will include information on media, topologies, protocols and standards, network support, and the knowledge and skills to sit for network certification. Objectives: Identify the devices and elements of computer networks. Diagram network models. Describe the devices, terminology, and standards specifications for network components including media connections between devices that enable connectivity and routing. Explain how IP addresses are represented in binary format and how these logical addresses enable the creation of routes between devices and broadcast domains. Differentiate different WAN types, data classifications, and technologies used to connect networks over wide geographical areas.
