REMOTE GIS Analyst

Essential Skills

• Must have experience supporting an NGA contract performing feature data extraction.
• BS degree in Geography, GIS, or related field with multiple GIS courses or equivalent GIS experience.
• Basic skillsets in imagery analysis, feature data extraction from satellite imagery, and digital mapping.
• Proven resource on Janus program.
• TDS, MGCP, MUVD, Conflation

Must be U.S. citizens

• Preferred candidates will have previous experience directly supporting the Janus Geography contract performing feature data extraction for other companies

• BS degree in Geography, GIS, or related field with multiple GIS courses or equivalent GIS experience

• This is a remote position and team members will be required to use their personal computer to access their assigned US Federal computer.

• Employees will be sitting in front of a computer looking at imagery and collecting topographic features such as roads, rivers, buildings, etc.

• Employees will be required to complete tasks within estimated hours and meet quality standards

Work Environment

100% fully remote- currently funded through the end of 2025 but the contract goes through 2026.
