Leidos defense systems, is seeking a talented Electro-Mechanical Technician Intern for the Product Integration Sectionto lead a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos defense systems provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Leidos/Dynetics is seeking an experienced individual to work closely with a team of engineers and customers to design and build hardware to meet unique technical requirements. Selected candidate will bring a diverse set of skills and an aptitude for solving complex problems. You will interpret drawings and use critical thinking to build and fabricate production and prototype hardware.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $71,675.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Basic Qualifications
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Individual must also have an interest in fabrication of hardware, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a good work ethic and responsibility.
- This position requires good communication skills, working well on a team with diverse skillsets, working in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to take on a variety of duties to help the team be successful.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required.
The candidate must have experience in the following areas:
- Experience reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation.
- Basic computer skill and using Microsoft Office.
- Experience building electrical and/or mechanical systems for DoD.
- Candidate must have IPC-WHMA-A-620 training or prove the ability to perform cable fabrication work.
