Responsibilities :
  • Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation to increase productivity; and decrease downtime and waste
  • Assume an active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. The position requires assisting with all jobs on the plant floor
  • Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment
  • Able to pass pre-employment tests
  • Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend continuously
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently during the scheduled work hours
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Understand that temperatures and volume of work may vary
Knowledge. Skills & Abilities:
  • Be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel
  • Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Thrive in a cross-functional team environment
  • Work with a sense of urgency to reduce the downtime of machines
